Bioinformaticists at the bench

April 7, 2015

The Reif Lab packed up their laptops and journeyed to Robert Tanguay's lab for a scientific retreat at Oregon State University.

The retreat was packed with scientific presentations, discussion, and socializing. A highlight was seeing the amazing, custom-engineered setup of the laboratory. Lisa Truong taught Michele, Guozhu, Kyle, and Skylar HTS lab skills, as evidenced by the photo of bioinformaticists "at the bench" (see below).

We appreciate the time invested by our hosts to make the retreat worthwhile and look forward to applying our new understanding of data generation to the development of robust bioinformatic solutions!
